The Water Garden Society of Oklahoma City has been in existence since 1982 when a small group of water garden enthusiasts formed what is know as WGSO. Our membership ranges from novice to master gardeners, from people who are planning a water feature to those with extensive water gardening experience. We meet at 7 pm, the 2nd Wednesday of each month, at the Will Rogers Garden Exhibition Center at I-44 & NW 36th Street. We meet every month throughout the year and invite you to join us at any of our fun and informative meetings!
Each year, many of our members open their backyard oasis to the general public in order to promote water gardening in the greater Oklahoma City metro area. It takes a lot of time and work for our members to get everything just right for the Public Pond Tour.

The Water Garden Society of Oklahoma City members enjoy water gardening and sharing our experiences. One of the objectives of this society is to promote interest, appreciation and enjoyment of water gardens and their natural habitat. The fascination with water is universal and so is the interest in all its occupants. An old Chinese proverb says that a garden without water is like a face without eyes. Just like the eyes, water reflects and glitters. So whatever the aspect of water gardening that appeals to you the most, whether it is the fascinating plants, serene waterscapes, or whimsical fish, it will bring rich rewards!

Our meetings are well organized, informative and fun. Refreshments are provided and guests are welcome!
